The Trauma Reprocessing Institute

The Trauma Reprocessing Institute was created to continue the pioneering work of trauma reprocessing– and further develop, research, and disseminate effective treatments for trauma that reach core violations, while being compelling for clients, with support for clinicians.

Beyond emotion regulation and symptom management, we seek to target core beliefs about one’s self-identity with a holistic approach. We cannot rewrite the past, but we can edit the meaning assigned to one’s experiences, and help clients release self-blame, anger, and grief with compassion and understanding. After addressing their pasts, clients can shift their focus towards creating a future that they desire.

We provide training, consultation, and implementation support in two complementary models: Warrior Renew group treatment for interpersonal trauma across the lifespan (including during the military), and Holographic Reprocessing individual therapy for a variety of traumas. Both treatments utilize cognitive and experiential strategies including imagery reprocessing where clients imagine delivering a message to their younger self who experienced trauma or maltreatment.

Making an impact

Founder’s Statement:

“I believe healing is more than symptom reduction. True healing frees the unconscious beliefs that keep people trapped in painful, repetitive patterns. Witnessing this kind of transformation is awe-inspiring– like seeing the light reignite within a person’s soul.

“I founded the Trauma Reprocessing Institute as an extension of my deep commitment to helping clients heal from trauma. By training and inspiring clinicians, we expand our reach and multiply our impact. This work is driven by passion and purpose, in service of our collective healing. Together, we can create powerful ripple effects of healing—for individuals, families, and communities. Together, we can make a meaningful impact!”
